“ Love this spot! I noticed it under construction the other month, and the first day I noticed it was actually open was during a power outage on Bishop! Harris was super friendly and chatted with me and my partner for a bit before giving us some of the "everything cookie," as he called it. The register/electricity was down, so he offered the cookies for free, to pay at a later time. Since I live close, that was easy! I came in the next week, got another cookie and coffee, and happily paid for the cookies from the previous week! I've now been a total of 5 times to study, and as a coffee snob, I'm happy with the brews I get here I've had the cheesecake once with pistachio drizzle, and it was lovely! I'm usually not a fan of cheesecake but I really enjoyed the texture and flavours, especially with the pistachio! Also, my family looooves cheesecake, so I'm sure to bring them when they visit in April. Thanks for a wonderful study spot that stays open late, a good coffee, and my new favourite cookie I'm looking forward to trying the tea next time! -Kirsten ”

“ If your favorite dessert is San Sebastian and you love high quality chocolate, then this place is for you. The quantity and quality for the price is perfect. I expected it to be good, but this was beyond my expectations! It’s rare to find an authentic dessert with a price tag thats below 10. The hot chocolate was really good except for the cinnamon that was powdered on top of it, so if you dont like cinnamon make sure to tell them to not sprinkle it on your hot chocolate The service was quick, and the staff were kind and attentive. Note: I would recommend you to share the piece with someone else as it is extremely filling and I couldn’t finish it. ”
